Let Windows Mail do it automatically. When you respond to an e-mail, Windows Mail automatically tosses that person’s name and e-mail address into your Contacts folder. If Windows Mail ever stops doing that, fix it: Choose Options from the Tools menu, click the Send tab, and select the Automatically Put People I Reply to in My Contacts List check box.
Import an Old Address Book. To import an Address Book file from another computer, open your Contacts folder and choose Import from the toolbar. (This step assumes that you’ve already used your old Address Book’s Export command to create a file you can import in any of these formats: CSV, LDIF, vCard or, if from Outlook Express, Windows Address Book File.)
