Here's my full situation,

I've had my Acer Windows 8 laptop for over a year, and my brother decided to download Windows 10 Technical Preview on it, for no reason in particular. Earlier this month, it expired and started restarting every couple hours, etc. So in order to revert back to Windows 8, and probably upgrade to Windows 8.1, I did a full factory reset of my computer. i had made a recovery media drive (USB), but I had made it at the time when Windows 10 TP was installed, so the USB had Windows 10 TP and not Windows 8. I thought that when I performed a factory reset it would go back to windows 8, or as if I was just starting the computer for the first time. I also had deleted the current partition drives, which I didn't really think about. However, when I start the computer without the USB, it can't boot, but when it's in, it can boot, but I can only get as far as the blue screen with the initial options of 'Turn off PC', and 'Troubleshooting'. When I go to reinstall Windows 10 TP, nothing happens, so I don't know what happened there.

I think the solution to the problem is downloading Windows 10 TP on a USB (Latest version, and if you could link me the latest version because my old version doesn't work anymore), then install it on my Laptop. From there, I would download Windows 8, then use 'MagicJellyBeanFinder' to find out my Access Key, because it's not on the bottom of my computer. From there, would I download windows 8 then put in my access key, or would I put windows 8 on a bootable flash drive and do it from there?

I don't know if my solution will work, so can you give me information to if it will work, or what I should instead do?
